Hello and thanks for visiting! Whereas my professional career (“day job”) has been as a Marketing Manager, this page is a portfolio of my more creative work as a freelancer.

I’ve been doing web and graphic design on the side since high school and those skills and abilities have made me particularly effective in my marketing career because I’ve always been able to be hands-on and resourceful beyond the core duties of a marketing manager.

I continue to freelance in order to bring variety to my work life, keep my skills sharp, learn about different fields and industries, network and because I genuinely like creating something new and making clients happy.

The following are the most common services I provide on a freelance basis, but by hiring me, your project will also benefit from my professional experience as a Marketing Manager — I understand how each of the following may affect your project’s “big picture”.

On the front-end, I creative great-looking, functional and responsive (mobile-friendly) sites incorporating custom features specifically suited to meet your business or project needs. On the back-end I do all the technical nitty-gritty that’s required to make your online presence complete, including setting up or migrating web hosting, configuring Google Apps for business, integrating e-commerce solutions or other third party apps/services, etc.

Graphic Design

From clean and formal corporate collateral to bold and colorful advertising pieces, I’ll work with you to effectively communicate your message across print and/or web media. Sales one-sheets, event flyers, web banners, brochures, business cards, complete brand identities, logo design, product mock-ups, presentations, and more. And with exceptional attention given to detail projects will completed with minimal revisions and on time.

Online Marketing

Let’s further leverage your existing online presence through organic means like improved social media integration and search engine optimization (SEO) or paid means like search engine marketing (SEM) via AdWords or other online advertising platforms. Or let me enhance your existing communications through richly formatted HTML newsletters.

Project Management

If you are dealing with larger projects involving multiple stakeholders, lots of deliverables and tight deadlines I can take some of the load off. In the past, I’ve simultaneously launched a couple dozen SKUs at several national retailers, organized entire trade show booths, and coordinated conferences while always delivering on time and on budget.

Photography

Whether it’s just a one-time photo session or you need a variety of fresh assets as part of a larger project like a new website, I have an extensive portfolio of work: product close-ups, press shots (individual and team portraits), property interior/exterior shots, concert photography, event/party photos, etc. Alternatively, I can source the most affordable stock photography and make it work seamlessly for the project at hand through my exceptional photo editing skills.

Product & Channel Marketing

Throughout my career in Channel Marketing I’ve worked through entire product cycles dozens of times influencing product development through research and focus groups, compiling forecasts, designing packaging, establishing retail plans, coordinating advertising blitzes for launch, and then maintaining promotions post-launch to ensure continued sales. With this core competency, I’m ready to jump in running and assist anywhere along your own product cycle.
